Before you write

Most tracking questions are answered by the Event Log. Open PixLedger → Event Log in your WordPress admin and check:

  • Status. sent, failed, blocked_consent, no_provider or deduplicated.
  • Reason. Hover a failed or blocked status badge. It names the consent category that blocked an event, or the error that made it fail.
  • Provider. Each provider has its own row, so Meta can fail while GA4 works.

What to include

  • Your WordPress, PHP, WooCommerce and PixLedger versions.
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot of the Event Log row, with the payload expanded if it helps.
  • Which cookie banner or consent plugin you use, if any.

Please remove customer names, email addresses and other personal data from screenshots and payloads before you send them.

Quick answers

Events are missing in Meta or GA4. Where do I start?

Open the Event Log and find the event. If the status is sent, PixLedger dispatched it from the browser, and an ad blocker or browser setting may have stopped it. If it is blocked_consent, the visitor had not agreed. If it is no_provider, no provider is enabled or configured.

Where is the Event Log?

In the WordPress admin, under PixLedger → Event Log.

Events are counted twice.

Another plugin or your theme may load the same pixel. PixLedger detects common tracking plugins and existing Meta or GTM tags and skips its own copy. It does not detect a GA4 tag added directly in your theme, so check for that too.

How long are events kept?

7 days by default. You can change this under PixLedger → Settings → Advanced.

Does it send events from the server?

Not in the free version. Events are sent from the visitor’s browser. Server-side delivery is planned for a Pro version.
